17.09.2026: Governor distributes wheelchairs to Divyang persons
Zoom 17.09.2026: Maharashtra Governor Jishnu Dev Varma distributed wheelchairs to 11 Divyang persons and presented the National Excellence Awards to 32 persons from various walks of life in Mumbai. The programme was organised jointly by the Varma Foundation and Maitry Peace Foundation as part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan at Yashwantrao Chavan Pratishthan, Mumbai. Padmashri Awardee Dr Shoma Ghosh; President of Varma Foundation Vasumudunuri Varma, Convenor of the programme Surjit Barua, Akshat Khetan, Secretary to the Governor Dr. Prashant Narnaware, Social worker Navin Chandra Hegde, Secretary of Maitry Peace Foundation Milan Parikh were among those present.
